Our Teams at Slims
As players continue to develop, the focus shifts toward refining baseball fundamentals and improving game awareness. Athletes begin learning more advanced defensive concepts, situational hitting, and base running while continuing to strengthen their skills. Practices are designed to challenge players while keeping the game enjoyable and rewarding.
At the 10U level, players begin to understand the importance of preparation, consistency, and teamwork. Coaches emphasize advanced skill development, baseball IQ, and situational play while encouraging players to compete with confidence. Athletes continue to build the habits and work ethic necessary for long-term success.
The 11U season bridges the gap between youth baseball fundamentals and the increased competition players will soon face. Practices become more detailed, with a focus on game strategy, defensive execution, pitching development, and situational awareness. Players are encouraged to become leaders while continuing to develop confidence both on and off the field.
The 12U season is one of the most memorable years in youth baseball. As players compete in their final season on the smaller field, they continue sharpening every aspect of their game while preparing for the transition to the full-sized diamond. This season emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and creating lasting memories through competitive tournament play and unforgettable experiences.
The move to the full-sized baseball field marks an exciting new chapter in player development. Athletes adjust to longer base paths, a higher pitching mound, and increased game speed while continuing to improve their mechanics and baseball IQ. Our coaching staff provides the guidance and instruction needed to help players confidently make this important transition.
At 14U, players continue to elevate their game through advanced instruction and competitive tournament play. Coaches focus on developing consistency, mental toughness, leadership, and situational awareness while helping players become more complete athletes. This is an important stage for building the foundation for high school baseball.
The 15U level is designed to complement players’ high school baseball experience, with athletes competing against strong competition while continuing to grow their skills, strength, and baseball IQ to prepare for varsity baseball and grow as complete student-athletes.
At 16U, the competition intensifies as players prepare for varsity baseball and begin attracting attention from college programs. Coaches emphasize advanced skill development, physical preparation, leadership, and consistency. Players are challenged to compete at a high level while representing the organization with integrity and professionalism.
Our Showcase teams provide talented high school athletes with opportunities to compete against some of the best competition in the region while gaining exposure to college coaches. Players participate in high-level tournaments and showcase events designed to highlight their abilities and prepare them for collegiate baseball. Our goal is to help every athlete maximize their potential and take the next step in their baseball journey.
